Propuesta adaptación de temas tradicionales de juga y currulao a la guitarra eléctrica

Abstract

Este documento explora los géneros musicales Juga y Currulao de la costa pacífica de Colombia, adaptándolos a la guitarra eléctrica solista. Se analizan sus características rítmicas y armónicas, para crear unos "Chord Melody". La metodología es cualitativa y se estructura en fases que describen los géneros, las técnicas y los arreglos musicales, con fin de crear material musical en formato partitura. This paper explores the Juga and Currulao musical genres of the Pacific coast of Colombia, adapting them to the solo electric guitar. Their rhythmic and harmonic characteristics are analyzed, to create “Chord Melody’s”. The methodology is qualitative and is structured in phases that describe the genres, techniques and musical arrangements, in order to create sheet music.
