Sistema de información para el registro y control de actividades de uso y aprovechamiento de tic en el punto vive digital del municipio de chía-cundinamarca

Abstract

Los puntos “Vive Digital” nacen con el propósito de crear un lugar con diferentes escenarios, prestando una serie de servicios de acceso a las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones totalmente gratis, para que así los ciudadanos tengan un espacio el cual garantiza el uso de éstos con diferentes actividades, esto como iniciativa del gobierno a través de la gestión del Ministerio de las tecnologías y comunicaciones (MinTic). El presente proyecto de investigación pretende, contribuir por medio de un sistema de información suplir la necesidad que actualmente se presenta en el Punto Vive Digital (PVD) sede Chía, con una herramienta capaz de integrar las principales actividades que se manejan dentro del PVD, que promueven el acceso y servicio universal a las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (TIC), prestando actualmente las siguientes actividades: uso de internet, entretenimiento, capacitaciones y tramites de gobierno en línea.

Uno de los componentes más importantes contemplado en este proyecto, es el que se encarga de manejar la información y datos que ingresan al Punto PVD, de modo que integre las diferentes actividades que se manejan en él, con el fin de optimizar procesos tales como el ingreso de usuarios, creación y control de capacitaciones y reportes. Considerando que anteriormente se utilizaba el software FRAGATA para el registro y control del PVD; pero dicho software presento diferentes fallas por las que se dejó de utilizar, llevando al PVD, a manejar la información de las actividades por medio de planillas y Excel, con procesos tediosos que generan duplicidad de información y dificultan el control de las actividades. Para el desarrollo del sistema de información se utilizó la metodología de desarrollo de software basada en CASCADA, ya que esta se adapta muy bien a desarrollos realizados por una sola persona, y en un periodo que oscila entre seis meses y un año. también se demuestran los resultados obtenidos a través de diferentes pruebas de calidad del software que se realizaron para que el sistema cumpliera con las funcionalidades, el rendimiento y la compatibilidad que se propusieron. One of the most important components referred to in this project, is in charge of handling the information and data coming to the Point PVD, so that you integrate the different activities that are handled in it, in order to optimize processes, such as the income of users, creation and control of trainings and reports. Whereas they previously used the software FRIGATE for the registration and control of the PVD; but such software may present different faults that are no longer used, leading to the PVD, to manage the information of the activities by means of spreadsheets and Excel, with tedious processes that generate duplication of information and make it difficult to control the activities. For the development of the information system we used the methodology of software development based on WATERFALL, as this adapts very well to the developments made by a single person, and in a period that ranges between six months and a year. it is also demonstrated by the results obtained through different quality tests of the software were performed for the system to meet the functionality, performance, and compatibility that have been proposed.
