Caracterización Técnico-Productiva De Los Sistemas Bovinos Presentes En Las Veredas Guavio Alto Y Guavio Bajo De Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca.

Abstract

El presente proyecto se realizó en el municipio de Fusagasugá, corregimiento suroriental, en las veredas Guavio Alto y Guavio Bajo, el cual consistió en efectuar un estudio de las producciones de ganado bovino y caracterizar particularmente las condiciones de manejo y alimentación de los animales. Se aplicó una encuesta a cada productor, durante los meses de mayo a agosto del presente año, los datos obtenidos posteriormente fueron utilizados para realizar la caracterización técnica y productiva de estas zonas rurales, con esto se llevó a cabo una intervención de tipo social realizando censos de dichas producciones bovinas, identificación de su manejo general, información del productor, alimentación, manejo sanitario, reproducción e interacción social. Para lograr lo descrito, la metodología y el análisis que se implementó fue la estadística descriptiva, aplicando herramientas de diagnóstico en la zona de estudio, donde se utilizó la matriz Vester, árbol de problemas y árbol de objetivos. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que, en el aspecto socioeconómico el 57 % y 70 % de Guavio Alto y Guavio Bajo respectivamente los productores son de género masculino, con estudios básicos generalmente primaria, en los aspectos generales se encontró un total de 131 bovinos en los predios encuestados, 7 de los 17 productores manejan registros productivos, manteniendo una cantidad constante de animales en los últimos años; en los aspectos técnicos – productivos más importantes que se obtuvieron, es que los productores en la vereda Guavio Alto tienen más inclinación hacia la producción de carne con un 86 % y producciones con razas criollas, con duración de los bovinos en el MACROPROCESO DE APOYO CÓDIGO: AAAr113 PROCESO GESTIÓN APOYO ACADÉMICO VERSIÓN: 6 DESCRIPCIÓN, AUTORIZACIÓN Y LICENCIA DEL REPOSITORIO INSTITUCIONAL VIGENCIA: 2021-09-14 PAGINA: 8 de 13 Diagonal 18 No. 20-29 Fusagasugá – Cundinamarca Teléfono: (091) 8281483 Línea Gratuita: 018000180414 www.ucundinamarca.edu.co E-mail: info@ucundinamarca.edu.co NIT: 890.680.062-2 Documento controlado por el Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad Asegúrese que corresponde a la última versión consultando el Portal Institucional sistema productivo de 1 a 2 años, en Guavio Bajo el 60 % de los productores se inclinan más por la producción de leche, teniendo los animales de 4 a 5 años o más tiempo en la producción, se observó que todos los productores cuentan con bebederos, pero el 86 % y 70 % no cuentan con infraestructura adecuada para los bovinos y la alimentación es a base de forrajes, teniéndolos en pastoreo continuo, algunos de ellos suministran sal mineralizada, desperdicios de cocina y concentrado, el 72 % y 90 % de los productores tienen sus bovinos con las vacunas de control oficial, así mismo se evidencio que la enfermedad más común de las producciones son los ectoparásitos con un 40 % y quien atiende los animales en caso de enfermedades son ellos mismos, la técnica de manejo reproductivo que más se lleva a cabo es la monta natural, en el aspecto de interacción social se halló que los principales factores que limitan el crecimiento de la producción bovina es la economía y la oferta de alimento para los animales, así mismo manifiestan que si están interesados en recibir capacitaciones enfocadas en la sanidad animal, desparasitación y demás temas que ayuden a mejorar su sistema productivo. Por último, se llevó a cabo una capacitación con 2 productores de la zona, que pudieron asistir al encuentro en centro de estudios agroambiental “La esperanza “donde se dio a conocer la importancia del manual de buenas prácticas ganaderas, manejo de registros y la importancia del chequeo reproductivo en los bovinos, entregando también material didáctico informativo, a los demás productores se les brindo la información finca a finca, para contribuir al mejoramiento de los sistemas productivos, así mismo se identificaron las problemáticas presentes y se entregó material didáctico informativo como lo es el folleto y plantillas de registros productivos y reproductivos, que permite mejorar el manejo técnico de los sistemas productivos.
