EVALUACIÓN DE DOS TIPOS DE FORRAJE VERDE HIDROPÓNICO EN EL COMPORTAMIENTO PRODUCTIVO DE CONEJOS EN LEVANTE, EN LA GRANJA NOVILLEROS, UBATÉ CUNDINAMARCA

Abstract

Resumen El presente estudio, se realizó en la Granja Novilleros en la Villa San Diego de Ubaté, perteneciente a la Dirección Agropecuaria del Municipio, consistió en la evaluación de dos tipos de forraje verde hidropónico como alimento de conejos en levante. Se realizaron dos fases, en la primera fase se realizó la siembra de dos especies de forraje verde hidropónico (Avena y Trigo). En la segunda se alimentaron los conejos, para ello se tomaron nueve conejos al azar de sesenta días de edad con igualdad de condiciones y características fenotípicas similares, se ubicaron en jaulas independientes en donde se evaluaron tres tratamientos, el primero (control) que consistió en el suministro de alimento balanceado y heno, el segundo a base de FVH de Avena Cayuse (Avena sativa), alimento balanceado, heno y el tercero a base de FVH de Trigo (Triticum aestivum L.), alimento balanceado y heno. En estos conejos se evaluó el aumento de peso corporal, ganancia diaria promedio y conversión alimenticia, obteniendo como resultado que mediante la utilización del segundo tratamiento FVH de Avena, con el suministro de FVHAvena en la dieta de los conejos, tuvo tendencia a una mejor respuesta productiva frente a las variables evaluadas, siendo la dieta más eficiente tanto en ganancia diaria promedio como en conversión alimenticia. Abstract This assay was carried out at the Novilleros Farm in the Villa San Diego de Ubaté, belonging to the Agricultural Direction of the Municipality, and consisted of the evaluation of two types of hydroponic green fodder feeding rabbits. It was carried out in two phases; in the first phase, two types of cereals (oats and wheat) were sown, and in the second phase the rabbits were fed, for which nine rabbits of sixty days of age with equal conditions and similar phenotypic characteristics were taken at random; They were placed in independent cages where three treatments were evaluated, the first (control) consisting of balanced feed and hay, the second based on FVH of Cayuse Oats (Avena sativa), balanced feed, hay and the third based on FVH of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L. ), balanced feed and hay. Subsequently, variables of body weight gain, average daily gain and feed conversion were evaluated, obtaining as a result that the use of the second oat FVH treatment, with the supply of FVH-oat in the rabbits' diet, had a tendency to a better productive response to the variables evaluated, being the most efficient diet both in average daily gain and feed conversion.
