Estrategia Cultural Para La Conservación Y Producción De Abejas (Apis Mellífera) En El Sector Porvenir Las Rositas Del Municipio De Arbeláez

Abstract

En el sector Porvenir las Rositas del municipio de Arbeláez, se desarrolló el proyecto de Estrategias de conservación y producción de abejas Apis mellifera en articulación con la alcaldía del municipio de Arbeláez y la Institución Educativa Dptal Rural Zaragoza; esta idea se generó a partir de la preocupante situación de la disminución de abejas en el sector debido a falta de cultura y capacitación de los habitantes en el enfoque medio ambiental, la falta de conocimiento de la comunidad en el espacio natural y productivo; por ello se pretendió mejorar la cultura de conservación de las abejas en el espacio natural y productivo para el aprovechamiento de los beneficios ecosistémicos y una nueva generación de fuentes de ingreso para los habitantes, mejorando la calidad de vida en el territorio; se realizó la identificación de características socioeconómicas y demográficas de la población del sector Porvenir Las Rositas por medio de una encuesta semi estructurada la cual fue tabulada y organizada para su respectivo análisis, para establecer la estructuración y activación de los encuentros con las familias en sus respectivas fincas; se realizaron nueve encuentros con las familias, Entre los ejes temáticos que se desarrollaron en los encuentros estaban: la colonia y su función en el medio ambiente, formación y ubicación del apiario de acuerdo al enfoque ambiental, productos de la colmena y conocimiento de la colmena, planificación de producción y relación con el medio ambiente, conocimiento del territorio en el enfoque ambiental, evidencias de un modelo apícola y reflexiones finales; cada uno de ellos tuvo un desarrollo especial en función al conocimiento de las personas en la actividad apícola. Dentro de estas oportunidades se llevó a cada encuentro con las familias estrategias de conocimiento del manejo ambiental y productivo mediante la participación de profesionales relacionados con el desarrollo productivo rural y la participación de jóvenes rurales mediante la creación de proyectos con alternativas en beneficio de la comunidad y de la conservación del territorio como logro del buen uso y aprovechamiento del territorio identificado para el desarrollo apícola. Dentro de las posibilidades de producción y de conservación de la especie Apis melífera, se realizó una caracterización por medio de un registro fotográfico de la variedad de flora perteneciente al sector Porvenir Las Rositas, en participación de algunas personas pertenecientes al sector con el fin de reconocer la biodiversidad que se encontró presente en cada espacio de propiedad dentro del sector Porvenir Las Rositas. Dentro de las estrategias productivas, se realizó un encuentro con un apicultor perteneciente al municipio de Arbeláez, este encuentro, permitió una socialización de experiencias y de evidencias productivas por medio de un cortometraje; este cortometraje se convirtió en un elemento educativo y motivacional para las familias que participaron del proyecto. En el desarrollo de las estrategias ambientales se contó con la participación de dos estudiantes del colegio Zaragoza mediante un vivero ecológico con objetivo de conservación de los polinizadores en especial las abejas Apis mellifera; por medio de estas dinámicas se generó la posibilidad del desarrollo apícola en las fincas de dos familias pertenecientes al sector. Estas experiencias fueron tomadas como contenido en la creación de una cartilla digital como compendio de experiencias exitosas en la conservación y producción apícola, al finalizar todos los encuentros con las familias se entregó un incentivo a cada familia, este incentivo se constituyó en la entrega de plántulas de botón de oro, sauco y girasol; además de ello, se hizo la invitación a desarrollar alternativas productivas apícolas para hacer parte de una asociación de apicultores ya constituido por medio de la Secretaria de Agricultura y Medio Ambiente. In the Porvenir las Rositas sector of the municipality of Arbeláez, the project of Conservation Strategies and production of Apis mellífera bees was developed in coordination with the mayor of the municipality of Arbeláez and the Educational Institution Dptal Rural Zaragoza; This idea was generated from the worrying situation of the decrease of bees in the sector due to the lack of culture and training of the inhabitants in the environmental approach, the lack of knowledge of the community in the natural and productive space; Therefore, it was intended to improve the culture of conservation of bees in the natural and productive space for the use of ecosystem benefits and a new generation of sources of income for the inhabitants, improving the quality of life in the territory; The identification of socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of the population of the Porvenir Las Rositas sector was carried out through a semi-structured survey which was tabulated and organized for its respective analysis, to establish the structuring and activation of the encounters with the families in their respective farms; Nine meetings were held with the families, Among the thematic axes that were developed in the meetings were: the colony and its function in the environment, formation and location of the apiary according to the environmental approach, products of the hive and knowledge of the hive , production planning and relationship with the environment, knowledge of the territory in the environmental approach, evidence of a beekeeping model and final reflections; each of them had a special development based on the knowledge of people in the beekeeping activity. Within these opportunities, knowledge strategies on environmental and productive management were carried out at each meeting with the families through the participation of professionals related to rural productive development and the participation of rural youth through the creation of projects with alternatives for the benefit of the community and of the conservation of the territory as an achievement of the good use and exploitation of the identified territory for the beekeeping development. Within the production and conservation possibilities of the honey bee species, a characterization was carried out by means of a photographic record of the variety of flora belonging to the Porvenir Las Rositas sector, with the participation of some people belonging to the sector in order to recognize the biodiversity that was found in each property area within the Porvenir Las Rositas sector. Within the productive strategies, a meeting was held with a beekeeper belonging to the municipality of Arbeláez, this meeting allowed a socialization of experiences and productive evidence through a short film; This short film became an educational and motivational element for the families that participated in the project. Two students from the Zaragoza school participated in the development of the environmental strategies through an ecological nursery with the objective of conserving pollinators, especially the bees Apis mellífera; Through these dynamics, the possibility of beekeeping development was generated in the farms of two families belonging to the sector. These experiences were taken as content in the creation of a digital booklet as a compendium of successful experiences in conservation and bee production. At the end of all the meetings with the families, an incentive was given to each family, this incentive was constituted in the delivery of seedlings buttercup, elderberry and sunflower; In addition, an invitation was made to develop productive beekeeping alternatives to be part of an association of beekeepers already established through the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment.
