El presente trabajo tuvo como propósito, diagnosticar el estado actual de manejo del hato, en la hacienda el rancho S&S, en el municipio de Nueva Granada, departamento del Magdalena, Colombia, con acciones encaminadas a mejorar la salud de los bovinos y también su productividad, con miras a la certificación futura del predio. El trabajo se realizó en tres fases. En la primera fase se hizo el reconocimiento del manejo del hato, tomando como referencia la lista de chequeo del ICA, para certificación de predios rurales. En la segunda fase se hizo un análisis de la información recolectada, para determinar las recomendaciones que permitieran solucionar la problemática encontrada, para posteriormente en una tercera fase, socializar los resultados entre los operarios de la Hacienda e iniciar jornadas de capacitación para lograr los resultados esperados en el proceso de certificación del predio.
The purpose of this work was to diagnose the current state of herd management at the ranch S&S, in the municipality of New Granada, department of Magdalena, Colombia, with actions aimed at improving the health of the cattle and also their productivity, with a view to the future certification of the property. The work was carried out in three phases. In the first phase, the herd management was recognized, taking as reference the ICA checklist, for certification of rural properties. In the second phase, an analysis of the information collected was carried out to determine the recommendations that would allow solving the problems found, and later in a third phase, socialize the results among the workers of the ranch and start training sessions to achieve the expected results. in the property certification process.
