Efecto de la sincronización del estro, de la ovulación y de la expresión del celo natural sobre el diámetro del folículo ovulatorio, duración del estro y estado reproductivo en vacas Holstein en Simijaca, Cundinamarca.

Abstract

ESPAÑOL Como objetivo de este estudio se evaluó la sincronización al estro con aplicación de prostaglandina (PGF2α), un protocolo de inducción a la ovulación Ovsynch (OVS) y la expresión natural del estro (CON), sobre el diámetro del folículo preovulatorio (DFPO), la duración del estro (DE) y el estado reproductivo (ER). El estudio fue realizado en Simijaca Cundinamarca. Se utilizaron 15 vacas Holstein, con un promedio de 5,6±0,9 años, 92,2±39,9 días en leche, clínicamente sanas, cíclicas y con condición corporal mayor a 2.5. La detección del estro se realizó mediante observación visual, la Inseminación artificial se realizó utilizando la regla am pm y la medición del DFPO se realizó mediante ultrasonografía. La confirmación de la preñez se realizó entre los días 30-60 postinseminación. Resultados. Fue diferente significativamente la DE (p=0,002), siendo mayor en el tratamiento OVS (20,25 h) comparado con el CON (11,60 h) y la PGF2α (13,20 h), también se encontró diferencias significativas en el ER (p=0,02), el tratamiento CON tuvo un 100% de preñez, el OVS, 50% y la PGF2α 20% de preñez. Se encontró que no existe una correlación entre la DE y el DFPO (rCON= -0.49; rOVS= -0.16 y rPGF2α = 0,72) y DE y PPL (rCON= -0.05; rOVS= 0.22 y rPGF2α = -0.55). En este estudio se obtuvo mayor porcentaje de preñez en el tratamiento CON; mayor DE en el tratamiento OVS y no se encontró relación entre la DE y el DFPO. Los valores reportados en esta investigación pueden servir de referencia para futuras investigaciones. INGLËS The objective of this study was to evaluate estrus synchronization with prostaglandin application (PGF2α), an Ovsynch ovulation induction protocol (OVS) and natural estrus expression (CON), on the diameter of the preovulatory follicle (PFPO), the duration of estrus (ED) and the reproductive state (ER). The study was conducted in Simijaca Cundinamarca. We used 15 Holstein cows, with an average of 5.6±0.9 years, 92.2±39.9 days in milk, clinically healthy, cyclical and with body condition greater than 2.5. Estrus detection was performed by visual observation, artificial insemination was performed using the am pm rule and DFPO measurement was performed by ultrasonography. The confirmation of pregnancy was made between days 30-60 post-insemination. Results. The SD (p = 0.002) was significantly different, being higher in the OVS treatment (20.25 h) compared to the CON (11.60 h) and the PGF 2α (13.20 h), significant differences were also found in the ER (p = 0.02), the CON treatment had a 100% pregnancy, the OVS, 50% and the PGF2α 20% of pregnancy. It was found that there is no correlation between SD and PFD (rCON = -0.49; rOVS = -0.16 and r PGF2α = 0.72) and DE and PPL (rCON= -0.05; rOVS= 0.22 and rPGF2α = -0.55). In this study, a higher percentage of pregnancy was obtained in the CON treatment; higher SD in OVS treatment and no relationship was found between ED and PFPO. The values reported in this research can serve as a reference for future research.
