Informe de semillerista: La rumba criolla al estilo de Emilio Sierra desde el contexto académico y creativo.

Abstract

Una de las dificultades que se encuentran en Colombia es la falta de apropiación por parte de la sociedad cuando a tradición nos referimos. Grandes músicos compositores colombianos han hecho aportes musicales de los cuales con el transcurrir del tiempo se han perdido, alguna de estas razones son la falta de conocimientos académicos para elaboración de partituras que evidencien y conserven la información puesta por el compositor, otra de ellas es la economía que se requiere para la grabación y digitalización que contribuya a la conservación de las obras compuestas y así darlas a conocer. Por otra parte, en Cundinamarca se evidencia este desinterés cuando de la RUMBA CRIOLLA nos referimos, ritmo representativo de este departamento, puesto que en Fusagasugá se celebra el festival llamado FESTIVAL NACIONAL DE INTERPRETES Y COMPOSITORES DE LA RUMBA CRIOLLA EMILIO SIERRA BAQUERO, este evento busca posicionarse como uno de los más importantes del país pero no ha sido fácil por consecuencia del desconocimiento que se encuentra hasta en los mismos habitantes del municipio donde este género nació (Pardo, Herrera, 2023). En el ámbito académico la información que se encuentra sobre la rumba criolla y Emilio Sierra es muy escasa, muy pocas universidades se interesan en dicho tema e incluso universidades que en sus cátedras enseñan la música colombiana. Así mismo, bibliotecas importantes del país en donde hemos consultado como la BIBLIOTECA LUIS ANGEL ARANGO y BIBLIOTECA NACIONAL DE COLOMBIA carecen de información que facilite la construcción de materiales que ayuden a la conservación de la rumba criolla.
