Fagot a la colombiana “Adaptación de tres cumbias de José Barros para Cuarteto de fagotes con acompañamiento de percusión, reflexiones musicales y sugerencias técnicas interpretativas.”

Abstract

Este trabajo de grado trata de la búsqueda de la sonoridad de la cumbia colombiana en el fagot por medio del análisis y posterior adaptación de tres canciones de José Barros, teniendo como referencia melódica a la línea melódica original de la voz y las presentes en arreglos o grabaciones encontradas. Estas obras fueron transcritas y posteriormente adaptadas para cuarteto de fagotes con acompañamiento de percusión. Palabras Clave: Fagot, música de cámara, cuarteto, Cumbia, Adaptación, Arreglo, Análisis musical Abstract Exploring the sonority of traditional Colombian vocal-instrumental rhythms such as the cumbia through a musical arrangement for Bassoon’s Quartet serve two purposes: first the Colombian bassoon performer will have available repertoire to explore new aesthetic , stylistic and technical concepts on their instrument due to the differences from the format and organology of the original arrangements of the songs. On the other hand, the foreign bassoon performer will know the characteristics of the Colombian cumbia and their cultural background.
