Representaciones sociales en torno al agua. una aproximación a los procesos de educación popular ambiental en los municipios de tibacuy y fusagasugá, cundinamarca.

Abstract

Los conflictos socio ambientales en Colombia han venido creciendo de forma acelerada. Los intereses de empresas multinacionales y nacionales de los sectores minero-energéticos y de la agroindustria han acaparado los bienes naturales de muchos países, con el objetivo de garantizar sus ganancias económicas, esto en contravía de las necesidades de las comunidades campesinas, indígenas y afros. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, esta investigación se centra en el estudio de conflictos ambientales en la región del Sumapaz, lugar donde se encuentran bloques de extracción de petróleo y minería que amenazan al ecosistema y a los habitantes de este territorio, lo que genera enfrentamientos, por la disputa de la propiedad y del manejo de los bienes naturales y donde además emergen estrategias de resistencia. Dichas estrategias serán abordadas a partir de las representaciones sociales, enmarcadas en los ejercicios de educación popular ambiental, que las organizaciones APRENAT, FRUTIGAO Y TIERRA LIBRE han realizado durante años. Todo esto desde un enfoque Histórico – hermenéutico.

Socio-environmental conflicts in Colombia have been growing rapidly. With the aim of assuring their economic gains, and in contrast to the needs of peasants, indigenous and Afro communities. In this sense, one of the natural resources at risk and on which we will focus our attention is water. Taking into account the above, this research focuses on the study of environmental conflicts in the Sumapaz region. Where there are oil extraction and mining blocks that threaten the ecosystem and the inhabitants of this territory. Besides, which generates confrontations, the dispute over the ownership and management of natural assets and where strategies of resistance also emerge. These strategies will be addressed from the social representations, framed in the exercises of environmental popular education, that the organizations APRENAT, FRUTIGAO and TIERRA LIBRE have been carrying out for years. All this, from a historical - hermeneutic approach.
