| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: La investigación se llevó a cabo en la finca El Triunfo ubicada en el municipio de Paime (Cund.) a una altura de 1392 m.s.n.m. y una temperatura promedio de 25°C. El desarrollo de la investigación tuvo como fin evaluar el efecto de dos tipos de fertilización en cultivo de yuca (Manihot esculenta Crant z) en etapa vegetativa en la variedad HCM1 (Armenia), se realizó un Diseño de Bloques Completos con tres tratamientos: TTO 0 Testigo, TTO 1 Fertilización Química y TTO 2 Fertilización Integrada, donde Testigo: sin fertilización, Fert ilización Química: corresponde al 100% de la dosis recomendada según los análisis de suelos, teniendo en cuenta los requerimientos nutricionales del cultivo, Fertilización Integrada: corresponde al uso de biofertilizantes con bacterias solubilizadoras de P, bacterias fijadoras de N y 50% de la dosis de fertilización química recomendada. Las variables de evaluación fueron peso seco en hojas, tallo, raíz y medidas alométricas altura de planta, numero de hojas y diámetro del tallo. Para la evaluación se usó un
software estadístico. Como resultado se encontró diferencia significat iva entre tratamientos para peso seco de hojas y peso seco de tallo. En peso seco de raíz, no se encuentra diferencia estadística entre tratamientos siendo TTO 2 el de mayor. En número de hojas, diámet ro de ta llo y altura de planta no se encontró diferencia entre tratamientos. Se capacitó a los productores del municipio en cuanto a selección y tratado de material de siembra, curvas a nivel y sembrado, fert ilización y enmiendas, manejo de plagas y enfermedades. Se divulgaron los resultados de la investigación a los productores por medio de folletos como material de apoyo para futuras producciones. The producers of the municipality were trained in the selection and treatment of planting material, level curves and sowing, fertilizat ion and amendments, pest and disease management.
