| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: En el siguiente trabajo monográfico el lector podrá apreciar las causas
específicas que influyen en la decisión de los estudiantes al momento de
abandonar su proceso de formación académica superior, con base en una
metodología planteada para cuatro programas académicos divididos en
dos equipos de trabajo, correspondientes a: Administración de empresas e
Ingeniería Electrónica y los programas de la Facultad de Ciencias
Agropecuarias de Ingeniería Agronómica y Zootecnia.
Se tomarán como objeto de estudio los programas de Ingeniería
Agronómica y Zootecnia. El procedimiento implementado para el
desarrollo del proyecto estuvo basado en cuatro determinantes clave en los
procesos de deserción, como lo son las individuales relacionadas
directamente con el estudiante desertor y su entorno, los académicos que
corresponden específicamente al entorno de aprendizaje en cuanto a los
núcleos temáticos de los programas, las causas institucionales que tratan
asuntos directos con procedimientos internos de la institución y los
socioeconómicos que básicamente referencian las condiciones de
sostenibilidad del estudiante y su ambiente familiar. Por otra parte se
podrá apreciar que los resultados de la primera fase del trabajo, permitió
identificar unos hallazgos significativos en el proceso de la investigación.
Los resultados obtenidos brindarán la información pertinente para las
oficinas de Planeación Institucional y Bienestar Universitario, las cuales se
beneficiarán con el informe detallado y estructurado de las causas
específicas de deserción estudiantil en el segundo periodo académico del
año 2015, esto con el fin de crear estrategias y planes de acción
encaminados a la retención, permanencia y reintegración de los
estudiantes en la Institución. ABSTRACT: In the following monographic work, the reader can appreciate the specific
causes that influence the decision of the students at the moment of
abandoning their superior academic formation process, based on a
methodology proposed for four academic programs divided into two work
teams, corresponding a: Business Administration and Electronic
Engineering and the programs of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of
Agricultural Engineering and Zootechnics. The programs of Agronomic Engineering and Zootechnics will be taken as
an object of study. The procedure implemented for the development of the
project was based on four key determinants in the desertion processes,
such as the individual ones directly related to the deserter student and their
environment, the academics that correspond specifically to the learning
environment in terms of the thematic nuclei of the programs, the institutional
causes that deal with direct matters with internal procedures of the
institution and the socioeconomic ones that basically refer to the conditions
of sustainability of the student and his family environment. On the other hand it will be possible to appreciate that the results of the first
phase of the work, allowed to identify some significant findings in the
process of the investigation.The results obtained will provide the relevant information for the offices of
Institutional Planning and University Welfare, which will benefit from the
detailed and structured report of the specific causes of student desertion in
the second academic period of 2015, this in order to create strategies and
action plans aimed at the retention, permanence and reintegration of
