As the leaf chlorosis of Alstroemeria sp. One of the most frequent complaints of the clients of the company The Elite Flower was the present investigation, which was carried out under greenhouse conditions of the company, in the cultivation of Alstroemeria sp yellow variety. Where a fertilization booster was applied through drip lines in culture, under an experimental DCA design with 4 repetitions per treatment. The fertilization formula of the farm was evaluated and an additional reinforcement consisting of the following elements: N, Mg, S, Fe, Mn Zn, Cu, B and Mo. The relative chlorophyll index (SPAD) was analyzed. · At the end of the reínforcement, the duration in vase life and the relative chlorophyll index were evaluated with the Minolta 502 plus equipment. lt was determined that the greenery of the foliage (SPAD) and the percentage of nitrogen increase in the stems with the reinforcement from week 3. There was improvement in the greenery of the foliage, observing a visual difference in ~olor since week 3 with the reinforcement. The minor elements in soil and follage decreased in the two treatments during the test, possibly dueto the alkaline soil pH. In vase life the yellowing of the leaves between treatments was different from day 4, the SPAD values remained higher in the stems that received the reinforcement ~nd the duration in vase life increased 1.5 days compared to the control. Yellowing decreased by 19% in stems that received fertilization reinforcement.es_CO
