Determinación de un posible daño causado por productos biológicos sobre el exocarpo en el fruto de arandano (Vaccinium corymbosum L)

Abstract

La producción y el consumo de arándano requieren de un manejo de plagas y enfermedades por medio de productos biológicos que no afecten la salud del consumidor final. El objetivo del trabajo fue identificar si algún producto biológico es el causal del daño sobre el Exocarpo de V. corymbosum en la empresa Bayas de los Andes. Se realizaron 4 ensayos utilizando productos biológicos y jabones para determinar si estos productos utilizados por la empresa causan daño en el exocarpo del fruto de V. corymbosum. No se evidenciaron daños en el exocarpo del fruto de V. corymbosum causados por los productos biológicos pero se logró determinar que los lavados realizados con algunos jabones generaron fitotoxicidad en el fruto.

The production and consumption of cranberry require management of pests and diseases through biological products that do not affect the health of the final consumer. The objective of the work was to identify if any biological product is the cause of the damage on the Exocarp of V. corymbosum in the company Bayas de los Andes. Four trials were carried out using biological products and soaps to determine if these products used by the company cause damage to the exocarp of the V. corymbosum fruit. No damage was observed in the exocarp of the fruit of V. corymbosum caused by the biological products but it was possible to determine that the washes made with some soaps generated phytotoxicity in the fruit
