Abstract

En este proyecto se estudia la erosión del suelo de la microcuenca la melgara en el municipio de Melgar Tolima, mediante la implementación de la metodología USLE, ecuación universal de la pérdida del suelo empleando el software ArcGis, con la intensión de contribuir con un buen desarrollo de prácticas ambientales que permitan implementar medidas que preserven el suelo y mitiguen la degradación del mismo con el objetivo de que los órganos públicos tengan un estudio de base para futura actualización del Plan Básico del Ordenamiento Territorial (PBOT) del municipio. ABSTRACT: In this project the soil erosion of the la melgara micro-basin in the municipality of Melgar Tolima is studied, through the implementation of the USLE methodology, the universal equation of soil loss using the ArcGIS software, with the intention of contributing to a good development of environmental practices that allow the implementation of measures that preserve the soil and mitigate its degradation with the objective that public bodies have a base study for future updating of the basic Plan of Territorial Organization (PBOT) of the municipality. Also, the areas most affected by degradatio attributed to erosion and contamination in the la Melgara micro-basing caused by anthropic activities are determined, which in the long run could generate a situation of not carried out of good practices and awareness.
