Estudio de valuación de servicios ecosistémicos en el municipio de sibaté, vereda san miguel.

Abstract

En esta investigación se estudió principalmente los diferentes servicios ecosistémicos que actualmente existen en la vereda San Miguel, ubicada en el municipio de Sibaté, con el fin de identificar las fuentes hídricas más importantes por su ubicación, caudal y número de habitantes abastecidos, el impacto social y cultural que el inadecuado tratamiento, inspección y control puede generar a un nicho importante de la población. De esta manera se pretende, contribuir en la creación de una verdadera conciencia acerca de la importancia del cuidado y preservación de los servicios ecosistémicos como parte de la existencia de la vida humana, para la coexistencia de los ecosistemas, e incluso, como piedra angular de cada una de las políticas públicas orientadas a cumplir con los alcances socioambientales del Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial del municipio en mención. In this research, the different ecosystem services that currently exist in the village of San Miguel, located in the municipality of Sibaté, were studied in order to identify the most important water sources due to their location, flow and number of inhabitants supplied, the social impact and cultural that inadequate treatment, inspection and control can generate an important niche of the population. In this way, it is intended to contribute to the creation of a true awareness about the importance of the care and preservation of ecosystem services as part of the existence of human life, for the coexistence of ecosystems, and even, as a cornerstone of each one of the public policies aimed at complying with the socioenvironmental scope of the Territorial Ordinance Plan of the municipality in question.
