Transformación Digital: Una Mirada Exploratoria en el Municipio de Chía Cundinamarca

Abstract

La era digital ha tomado su lugar en la sociedad en general, a partir de los sistemas ciber físicos, la robótica, el big data, las inteligencias artificiales, el internet de las cosas (IoT), la nube y la transformación digital, que han conllevado a definir una Industria 4.0 y una vida 5.0. La transformación digital y la Industria 4.0 han emergido como fuerzas poderosas que están remodelando el paisaje empresarial y la sociedad en su conjunto. De esta manera el objetivo principal de la presente investigación es analizar la gestión y aprovechamiento de la transformación digital en las MiPymes del municipio de Chía Cundinamarca. Se utiliza un enfoque cualitativo con un alcance descriptivo, utilizando técnicas de investigación como la revisión documental sobre investigaciones previas y la información sobre el municipio de Chía a partir de los planes de desarrollo y los informes disponibles en la página web de la alcaldía. Adicionalmente se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada a empresarios, representantes del sector académico y sector público quienes a partir de sus percepciones manifestaron que hay avances significativos en la transformación digital para el municipio, pero aún hay retos por atender a partir del buen uso de la tecnología, así mismo otorgan un puntaje por encima de 4 puntos a la transformación digital en el territorio.

The digital age has taken its place in society at large, starting from cyber-physical systems, robotics, big data, artificial intelligence, internet of things (IoT)The cloud and digital transformation, which have led to defining an Industry 4.0 and a life 5.0. Digital transformation and Industry 4.0 have emerged as powerful forces reshaping the business landscape and society. Thus, the main objective of this research is to analyze the management and use of digital transformation in the MiPymes of the municipality of Chía Cundinamarca. A qualitative approach with a descriptive scope is used, using investigative techniques such as document review of previous investigations and information on Chía municipality from development plans and reports available on the website of the mayor’s office. In addition, a semi-structured interview with entrepreneurs was conducted by representatives from the academic and public sectors who, based on their perceptions, indicated that there are significant advances in digital transformation for the municipality, but there are still challenges to be met from the good use of technology, also give a score above 4 points to digital transformation in the territory.
