Identificación y priorización de áreas para reforestación protectora en el municipio de Agua de Dios - Colombia, por medio de sistemas de información geográfica.

Abstract

El presente proyecto se realizó con el fin de brindar información significativa, al proceso que ha venido realizando la Alcaldía Municipal de Agua de Dios en cuanto al cumplimiento de la Sentencia del Río Bogotá, específicamente a la obligación 4.24 la cual requiere una “Identificación Y Priorización De Las Áreas Para Reforestación Protectora Sobre La Cuenca Del Río Bogotá”. Para esto, se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica y de bases de datos geográficos del municipio. Seguidamente, se procesó una imagen satelital Sentinel en formato ráster captada en el mes de enero del presente año, con el fin de obtener el Índice de Vegetación de Diferencia Normalizada (NDVI) el cual muestra el estado de la vegetación del municipio, evidenciando suelos agrícolas y ganaderos. Dentro de esta identificación, se priorizaron las zonas sin vegetación y de muy baja vegetación con un área mayor a 0,5 ha en suelos potrerizados y con 0,2 ha en rondas hídricas. Teniendo esta información, se generó un mapa de zonas priorizadas con el cual se procedió a realizar verificación en campo para comprobar el estado de estos sitios. Con los datos obtenidos, se corrigió el mapa de zonas priorizadas y se procedió a formular estrategias tales como cercas vivas y árboles dispersos para realizar una posterior reforestación de estas zonas.. ABSTRACT: This project was carried out in order to provide significant information to the process that the Municipal Mayor's Office of Agua de Dios has been carrying out regarding compliance with the Rio Bogotá Judgment, specifically obligation 4.24 which requires an “Identification and Prioritization Of the Areas for Protective Reforestation on the Bogotá River Basin ”. For this, a bibliographic search and geographic databases of the municipality was carried out. Next, a Sentinel satellite image was processed in raster format captured in January of this year, in order to obtain the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) which shows the state of the municipality's vegetation, showing agricultural soils and ranchers. Within this identification, areas without vegetation and with very low vegetation with an area greater than 0.5 ha in potrerized soils and with 0.2 ha in water rounds were prioritized. Having this information, a map of prioritized areas was generated with which a field verification was carried out to check the status of these sites. With the data obtained, the map of prioritized areas was corrected and strategies such as living fences and scattered trees were formulated to carry out a subsequent reforestation of these areas.
