Formulación de la Política Ambiental GUMO - Ingeniería

Abstract

GUMO – Ingeniería nace de la necesidad y de la alta demanda de obras de construcción generadas en el municipio de Carmen de Apicalá – Tolima, debido a que este en los últimos 4 años ha estado creciendo urbanísticamente, generando así serios problemas ambientales en la región. Es por ello que el objetivo principal de esta pasantía fue Formular la Política Ambiental de la empresa, con el fin, de mitigar y prevenir los impactos ambientales generados sobre la comunidad y el ambiente, y hacer de ella una empresa competitiva y líder en el mercado. Cabe resaltar que, para la formulación de dicha política, fue necesario realizar una evaluación inicial, en donde se analiza la normatividad ambiental vigente (local, nacional e internacional), seguido de identificar los procesos y procedimientos de la constructora con el fin de tener claro los impactos ambientales significativos tales como, el manejo de residuos, consumo de agua y energía, emisiones de carbono, entre otros; también el crear estrategias de mitigación, como, por ejemplo adoptar tecnologías y materiales que permitan reducir el consumo de agua y energía, reutilizar y reciclar materiales de construcción, implementar control de emisiones atmosféricas mediante el sistema de supresión de polvo, etc. Al final, el resultado es la creación de la política ambiental de GUMO – ingeniería, consolidándola en el municipio, como la primera constructora interesada por velar y cumplir con el medio ambiente y su comunidad. En conclusión, la constructora GUMO – Ingeniería reafirma su compromiso con el medio ambiente, buscando no solo cumplir con la normatividad vigente, sino que a través del compromiso colectivo llegue a hacer líder en sostenibilidad en el sector de la construcción y porque no de la región. ABSTRACT: GUMO – Engineering was born from the need and high demand for construction works generated in the municipality of Carmen de Apicalá – Tolima, because in the last 4 years it has been growing urbanistically, thus generating serious environmental problems in the region. That is why the main objective of this internship was to Formulate the company's Environmental Policy, in order to mitigate and prevent the environmental impacts generated on the community and the environment, and make it a competitive company and leader in the market. It should be noted that, for the formulation of said policy, it was necessary to carry out an initial evaluation, where the current environmental regulations (local, national and international) are analyzed, followed by identifying the processes and procedures of the construction company in order to be clear. significant environmental impacts such as waste management, water and energy consumption, carbon emissions, among others; also creating mitigation strategies, such as adopting technologies and materials that reduce water and energy consumption, reusing and recycling construction materials, implementing atmospheric emissions control through the dust suppression system, etc. In the end, the result is the creation of the environmental policy of GUMO – engineering, consolidating it in the municipality, as the first construction company interested in ensuring and complying with the environment and its community. In conclusion, the construction company GUMO – Engineering reaffirms its commitment to the environment, seeking not only to comply with current regulations, but through collective commitment to become a leader in sustainability in the construction sector and why not in the region.
