Impacto Social Y Económico Del Impuesto A Las Bebidas Azucaradas En Colombia

Abstract

El presente proyecto de grado, pretende realizar un análisis detallado de cada uno de los resultados obtenidos frente a la tributación impuesta a las bebidas azucaradas en países como México, Reino Unido, Chile, Perú y entre otros, y así mismo identificar los posibles resultados que se puedan dar para el caso de Colombia, quien actualmente se está sumando a esta sugerencia de impuesto, y quien, mediante este tributo pretende mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas y la eficiencia del sistema de salud, a través del recaudo del mismo. Actualmente, las enfermedades no trasmisibles, viene siendo un tema de gran impacto en la sociedad, puesto que, dentro de las mismas, se encuentran catalogadas enfermedades como la diabetes, la cual se desencadena a raíz de las BA, y la cual se pretende eliminar con la implementación del tributo y medidas alternas más saludables. Cabe resaltar, que este tributo vendría siendo aplicable a todos los estratos socioeconómicos, y que la población más beneficiada vendría siendo los países con recursos escasos, puesto que actualmente son los más propensos a consumir estas bebidas y automáticamente la reemplazarían por productos alternos con precio más bajos e ingredientes más saludables. Sin embargo, los resultados que se puedan obtener, se verán reflejados de forma paulatina, y dependerán únicamente de los consumidores, quienes vienen siendo los únicos que deciden respecto al producto, si desean adquirirlo y consumirlo, es por ello, que la situación dependerá -positiva o negativamente- de la sociedad en general frente a las decisiones que tomen al momento de comprar los productos.
