De la utopía a la capacidad: Una educación con potencial para el desarrollo humano en la Institución Educativa Departamental Santa Inés del municipio de Silvania, Cundinamarca

Abstract

La educación en Colombia ha sido un proceso de lenta transformación y modernización en el cual se evidencian problemáticas que reflejan insuficiencia en la atención al desarrollo humano. Las instituciones educativas no responden de manera contundente a las necesidades socioeconómicas, culturales y políticas que la población en formación requiere para superar situaciones cotidianas. Históricamente el Estado se ha interesado en la educación teniendo en cuenta el aporte que esta le hace al aumento de la productividad en beneficio de la economía, mas no como un proceso para el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida, del bienestar del individuo y de la población. En los colegios oficiales, como la Institución Educativa Departamental Santa Inés (IEDSI), no existe una formulación pedagógica que tenga en cuenta el desarrollo humano y el enfoque de las capacidades humanas como herramienta para incidir en el desarrollo del municipio y proveer una educación que aporte a la vida de los estudiantes. A pesar de esto, las dinámicas educativas en las aulas sí son una muestra de la pertinencia del enfoque en un contexto educativo, debido a que es posible ver en la cotidianidad escolar las diez capacidades, trabajadas en muchos casos de manera inconsciente. Por consiguiente, abordar la relación entre educación y el enfoque de las capacidades humanas en la IEDSI requiere que se propongan formas de acercarse a la institución y su modelo pedagógico, para ventilar esas manifestaciones del enfoque que se presentan involuntariamente, camufladas entre las múltiples relaciones que se tejen en el escenario educativo. In spite of this, the educational dynamics in the classrooms are a sample of the relevance of the approach in an educational context, because it is possible to see in the daily school life the ten capacities, worked in many cases in an unconscious way.
