Club de Lectura “Los Pequeños Lectores del Lleras”.

Abstract

La educación actual exige que la enseñanza, en especial la relacionada con la lectura, sea significativa, pues no se trata de realizar un ejercicio apático y poco atractivo. Por lo tanto, se hace necesario implementar una estrategia que permita al sujeto ubicarse en el contexto real, dando solución a problemas a partir de cómo lee y comprende el mundo que lo rodea. Ante esta situación se identificó que, en la Institución Educativa Jorge Eliecer Gaitán, sede Lleras, el hábito lector es poco practicado, resultando preocupante, pues para acceder al conocimiento y a la información, la lectura es una herramienta básica. Por lo tanto, se convirtió en un reto fortalecer la habilidad y comprensión lectora en los estudiantes de grado 5 de primaria, a través del club de lectura. Para ello se realizó observación encuesta semiestructurada y diario de campo que posibilitaron la identificación de vivencias y reflexiones, lo que llevo a diseñar una estrategia didáctica en la que los estudiantes tuvieron la posibilidad de conocer una metodología centrada en su propio gusto y deseo por aprender, en el que fueron protagonistas activos durante el desarrollo del club, generando así agrado en los niños a la hora de afianzar sus habilidades comunicativas, en especial la comprensión lectora. ABSTRACT: Today´s education demands that teaching, especially the teaching of reading, be meaningful since reading should not continue to be perceived as a boring activity. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a strategy that allows students to place themselves in the real context and propose solutions based on a more effective reading and a better interpretation of the word around them. In this research, low reading levels were identified in the students of the Jorge Elíecer Gaitán Educational Institution, Lleras branch. This finding is worrisome to the extent that reading is fundamental to access knowledge and information. Thus, through this project we seek to promote reading awareness and improve reading comprehension in 5th grade students through the reading club. For this purpose, we conducted an observation, semi-structure survey and a field diary, which made possible the identifications of experiences and reflections, which led to the design of a didactic strategy in which the students had the opportunity to learn a methodology centered on their own taste and desire to learn, in which they were active protagonists during the development of the club, thus generating pleasure in the children when strengthening their communicative skills, specially reading comprehension.
