| dc.description.abstract | En Colombia, una de las exigencias es que en toda institución educativa se debe enseñar el inglés como lengua extranjera y en este caso la sede Santa Ana, vereda Batán, Fusagasugá, no cuenta con estrategias o actividades para la enseñanza del inglés. Debido a esto, los estudiantes no poseen conocimiento básico sobre este idioma y por tal razón, esta investigación buscó implementar la huerta escolar como estrategia pedagógica para desarrollar las cuatro habilidades comunicativas del inglés en estudiantes de esta vereda. El proyecto se encamina por la línea de investigación del Bilingüismo, lingüística y didáctica del EFL. Se empleó la investigación-acción participativa bajo un enfoque cualitativo, se recogieron los datos utilizando la observación participante, el diario de campo, entrevistas y prueba diagnóstica de salida. Después de analizar la información empleando el análisis temático, se pudo hallar que la huerta escolar como estrategia pedagógica, permitió el desarrollo integrado de las habilidades comunicativas del inglés. Además, se halló que el desarrollo y la exposición frecuente al idioma extranjero mejoran la adquisición de las habilidades. Se puede concluir que la huerta escolar fue una estrategia pedagógica que facilitó el desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas del inglés de manera integrada, pues gracias a las actividades lúdicas que se implementaron basadas en el contexto y necesidades de los estudiantes, estos lograron aprender de una manera más fácil y placentera. In addition, it showed that the development and frequent exposure to the foreign language improve the acquisition of skills. It can be concluded that the school garden was a pedagogical strategy that facilitated the development of English communication skills in an integrated manner, because thanks to the playful activities that were implemented based on the context and needs of the students, they managed to learn in an easier and more pleasant. | spa |
