Abstract
ABSTRACT: The Yulo wetland, cataloged as the last wetland in the lower basin of the Bogotá river; According to the Land Management Plan of the Municipality of Ricaurte, the Yulo wetland is considered a relictual ecosystem of the Tropical Dry Forest, that is, an ecosystem in a state of regression due to natural or anthropic causes, presenting special care and conservation at the local level. For this reason, the Autonomous Regional Corporation (CAR) has carried out studies and environmental management plans (PMA) in the year 2006 , however, studies of carrying capacity are unknown for this strategic ecosystem, this being an alternative for its sustainable management. In this context, the need to design an environmental interpretive trail with a rational, sustainable and responsible use of tourist resources is studied, through the identification of characteristics such as: natural, cultural and historical heritage of the wetland, together with the environmental impacts that they occur in said ecosystem. For this reason, the present work aims to calculate the tourist load capacity of the area, serving as a preventive tool of possible effects that the tourist pressure could carry out. The methodology that was carried out for the calculation of the load capacity establishes three levels: physical load capacity (CCF), real load capacity (CCR) and effective load capacity (CCE) to collect secondary information in order to analyze the environmental and social correction factors. In addition, a classification of the slopes of the El Yulo wetland was carried out using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) tools and characterizing the land covers using the Corine Land Cover methodology adapted for Colombia. For the La Monjita trail, the physical carrying capacity was 10,932 visitors / day and the actual carrying capacity was 152 visitors / day; Regarding the Armadillo trail, the physical load capacity was 14,225 visitors / day and the actual load capacity was 53 visitors / day, observing a difference of 101 visitors / day (34.9%), interfering with the possibility of managing the area of environmentally efficient way, in order to preserve a state of dynamic equilibrium and certain production to the biota.Línea gratuita: 018000180414 | e-mai: biblioclic@ucundinamarca.edu.co
