La investigación de este proyecto está basada en un estudio de caso donde se realizó una contrastación entre los resultados deportivos y los cambios morfológicos del para atleta Mauricio Andrés Valencia lanzador de jabalina y récord mundial, durante el periodo comprendido desde el año 2013 al 2017. La razón de este lapso de tiempo es a causa de que en el año 2013 el reglamento cambio considerablemente, generando variaciones significativas en los registros no solo del para atleta protagonista de esta investigación, sino de todos los atletas a nivel mundial. Para la recolección de los datos se acudió al Centro de Ciencias del Deporte (CCD) de Coldeportes, accediendo a la información tomada por los profesionales en el área médicodeportiva quienes cuentan con certificación ISAK para la toma confiable de estos datos. Abstract: The investigation of this project is based on a study case where a comparison was made between the sporting results and the morphological changes of the javelin thrower Mauricio Andrés Valencia and world record, during the period from 2013 to 2017. The reason for this lapse of time is because in 2013 the regulations changed considerably, generating significant variations in the records not only of the athlete who is the protagonist of this investigation, but of all the athletes worldwide. In order to collect the data, we went to the Sports Science Center (CCD) of Coldeportes, accessing the information taken by the professionals in the medical-sports area who have ISAK certification for the reliable taking of this data.
