Procesos de educación ambiental encaminados al sostenimiento familiar y la seguridad alimentaria en la vereda de namay alto del municipio de albán cundinamarca

El proyecto de seguridad alimentaria desarrollado en Albán-Cundinamarca junto con una comunidad compuesta por treinta adultos mayores de la vereda de Namay Alto, ha permitido desarrollar estrategias de identificación y caracterización de la población objeto de estudio, que tiene como fin plantear alternativas de educación y formación aptas para cada uno de ellos, con el fin de fomentar el establecimiento de huertas caseras, con una herramienta que propicia el sostenimiento familiar, la alimentación balanceada y la accesibilidad a alimentos en la calidad y cantidad necesaria, según los requerimientos de cada núcleo familiar, el proceso ha fomentado la participación ciudadana y el empoderamiento de cada individuo, para que de manera autónoma reconozca la necesidad y ventaja de cosechar alimentos en su hogar, que en el área rural son de difícil acceso. De esta manera y considerando las condiciones en las que vive cada participante, se elaboran talleres que permiten reconocer fenómenos como el cambio climático, que hoy en día impacta al sector agropecuario, se incluyen temas para mejorar las acciones que se ejercen sobre los sistemas naturales y finalmente, se eligen alternativas de establecimiento para veinte huertas familiares. ABSTRACT The food security project developed in Albán-Cundinamarca, together with a community of thirty senior citizens from the Namay Alto village, has allowed the development of identification and charactrization strategies for the population under study, which aims to propose alternatives for education and training suitable for each of them in order to encourage the establishment of home gardens, as a tool that promotes family support, balanced food and acceccibility to food in the quality and quantity necessary, according to the requeriments of each family nucleus, the process has encouraged citizen participation and empowerment of each individual, so that they autonomously recognize the need and advantage of harvesting food in their home, which in the rural area difficult to access. In this way and considering the conditions in which each participant lives, workshops are developed that allow the recognition of phenomena such as climate change, which today impacts the agricultural sector, including topics to improve the actions taken on natural systems and finally, establishment alternatives are chosen for twenty family gardens.
