Comportamiento epidemiológico de leptospirosis en los años 2010 – 2020 (hasta la fecha) en Colombia.

La leptospirosis es considerada una enfermedad zoonotica que en algunos países se ha convertido en una enfermedad reemergente y pertenece al género Leptospira. En Colombia los casos de leptospirosis se convirtieron en casos de notificación obligatoria en el Instituto Nacional de Salud, el objetivo principal de este trabajo es describir el comportamiento epidemiológico de casos de leptospirosis humana notificados al SIVIGILA en Colombia durante los años de 2010 􀂱 2020 (fecha actual), se diseñó un estudio observacional de corte retrospectivo por los casos reportados en el Software SIVIGILA en los años de estudio y un análisis de diferentes artículos en Colombia para evaluar cuales eran los antecedentes epidemiológicos de los casos presentados, se utilizaron tablas, gráficos y estadísticas para el análisis respectivo, se obtuvo como resultado que el año que más presento casos de leptospirosis en Colombia fue el año 2019 con una totalidad de casos de 2718 (11%), considerándose casos probables el 2019 con 2718 casos, notificándose por laboratorio el 2011c con 1089 casos y por último, por nexo epidemiológico el 2017 con 67 casos, también según los estudios las personas con mayor riesgo a contraer leptospirosis son aquellas que no cuenta con servicio de acueducto y alcantarillado y sus actividades económicas son del manejo de animales, bovinos, porcinos, roedores, se concluye que en Colombia en los últimos tres años solo se han notificado los casos de leptospirosis pero aún queda información específica por notificar en el Software SIVIGILA para poder desarrollar un estudio más detallado.
