RESUMEN: Como antecedentes de este proyecto se encuentran otros estudios de factibilidad elaborados por estudiantes de pregrado de distintas universidades del país, los cuales pueden encontrarse en los Repositorios Institucionales de dichas instituciones. Estos estudios generalmente son realizados como opción de grado para obtener un titulo profesional y en la mayoría de los casos son llevados a la practica. Este trabajo contiene un estudio de factibilidad para la creación de una empresa dedicada a la fabricación y comercialización de envases de material PET en el municipio de Facatativá. El objetivo de este proyecto es generar nuevas oportunidades de bienestar social y económico en este municipio mediante la creación de esta empresa. El desarrollo de este proyecto involucra inicialmente un proceso de recopilación y análisis de información, identificando de esta manera la oferta y demanda de este tipo de envases, definiendo un segmento de mercado y unas estrategias de marketing respectivamente. Adicional a esto se definen los requerimientos técnicos necesarios para la ejecución del proyecto, incluyendo aspectos administrativos, legales y se determina el impacto ambiental del proyecto, incluyendo aspectos administrativos, legales y se determina el impacto ambiental del proyecto. Por último se realiza el estudio financiero para determinar la viabilidad económica del proyecto. ABSTRACT: As a background to this project, there are other feasibility studies prepared by undergraduate students from different universities in the country, which can be found in the Institutional Repositories of these institutions. These studies are usually carried out as a degree option to obtain a professional degree and in most cases are carried out. This work contains a feasibility study for the creation of a company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of PET containers in the municipality of Facatativá. The objective of this project is to generate new social and economic welfare opportunities in this municipality through the creation of this company. The development of this project initially involves a process of gathering and analyzing information, thus identifying the supply and demand of this type of packaging, defining a market segment and marketing strategies respectively.
