Salud Mental En Los Enfermeros Que Laboran En Una Unidad Mental Del Municipio De Girardot 2023.

La salud mental del personal de enfermería es fundamental, si se presentan alteraciones pueden llegar a comprometer la calidad de la atención brindada a los pacientes en entornos de atención a la salud. Al conocer el estado de la salud mental del personal de enfermería que labora en una unidad mental en el municipio de Girardot, Cundinamarca, con el fin de obtener una visión del contexto laboral de esta población y la identificación de los factores de riesgo o estresantes que generan los trastornos mentales. Estudio cuantitativo descriptivo de tipo transversal realizado con una población de 11 enfermeros. Para la recolección de la información se usó el instrumento de caracterización, la escala de estrés en enfermería y la escala de ansiedad y depresión de Goldberg. El análisis de la información se realizó a través de métodos estadísticos descriptivos. Se observó que la mayor parte de los integrantes presenta estrés agudo y la población en riesgo de presentar ansiedad corresponde al 36.3% y el porcentaje de participantes con riesgo de depresión es de 45.4%. El personal de enfermería se encuentra expuesto a diferentes situaciones o eventos generadores de múltiples alteraciones mentales debido a la relación permanente y el contacto directo que tiene con el paciente al momento de brindar el cuidado de enfermería en salud mental. ABSTRACT: The mental health of the nursing staff is fundamental because if alterations are present, they can compromise the quality of care provided to patients in health care settings. understand the mental health status of nursing staff working in a mental health unit in the municipality of Girardot, Cundinamarca, in order to gain insight into the work environment of this population and identify the risk or stress factors that generate mental disorders. a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with a population of 11 nurses. The characterization instrument, the nursing stress scale and the Goldberg anxiety and depression scale were used to collect the information. The analysis of the information was carried out using descriptive statistical methods. It was observed that most of the participants present acute stress and the population at risk of presenting anxiety corresponds to 36.3% and the percentage of participants at risk of depression is 45.4%. Nursing staff are exposed to different situations or events that generate multiple mental disorders due to the permanent relationship and direct contact they have with the patient when providing mental health nursing care.
