El propósito de este artículo es explicar profundizar y esclarecer las funciones que debe cumplir un revisor fiscal en términos de eficacia y responsabilidad en Colombia, entendiendo por eficacia la capacidad del revisor fiscal para lograr los resultados esperados en cumplimiento de sus ocupaciones y responsabilidades. Así pues, se toma como referencia el sistema de control interno y todo lo que lo compone, de igual forma se pretende dar claridad sobre el límite de responsabilidad de este, para ello se realizó una búsqueda y análisis de documentos con el propósito de interiorizar, percibir la realidad y establecer de forma idónea las funciones y responsabilidades del revisor tanto en la sociedad como en la organización. The purpose of this article is to explain deepening and clarifying the functions that a fiscal reviewer must fulfill in terms of effectiveness and responsibility in Colombia, understanding by effectiveness the capacity of the fiscal reviewer to achieve the expected results in compliance with their occupations and responsibilities. Thus, the internal control system and everything that composes it is taken as a reference, in the same way it is intended to give clarity on the limit of responsibility of this, for this a search and analysis of documents was carried out with the purpose of internalizing, perceiving reality, and establishing in an ideal way the functions and responsibilities of the reviewer both in society and in the organization.
