Análisis financiero de las Pymes del sector turístico en el departamento de Cundinamarca. Periodo 2020 a 2022.

El sector de turismo en Colombia es uno de los más representativos en la dinámica empresarial del país. En el marco de la prestación de los servicios turísticos se encuentran diferentes actividades, desde el alojamiento en hoteles, fincas, viviendas, las actividades en parques de atracción, deportes de aventura, hasta la gastronomía y destinos con fines culturales. En ese contexto de prestación de servicio, la gran mayoría son personas naturales que tienen cámara y comercio, seguido por las pequeñas y medianas empresas (Pymes), quedando un porcentaje poco significativo para empresas grandes, convirtiéndose en tendencia nacional de la cual no es ajeno el Departamento de Cundinamarca. Ahora bien, el desempeño financiero de las Pymes no ha sido el mejor en los últimos años, los estudios de entidades públicas así lo evidencian, es por ello que el principal objetivo de la investigación está en analizar financieramente las Pymes del sector turístico en el Departamento de Cundinamarca, seleccionando información contable de los años 2020, 2021 y 2022. La metodología de investigación es de un alcance descriptivo a partir de un enfoque cuantitativo. Se analiza la información contable y financiera de 12 Pymes clasificadas en el sector turístico en el Departamento de Cundinamarca, la selección es no probabilística debido a que el número de Pymes que reportan información a las entidades de control en el sector, no es una población mayoritaria. Como indicadores financieros se trabajaron 4 grupos de análisis: rentabilidad, endeudamiento, liquidez y flujo de efectivo. The tourism sector in Colombia is one of the most representative in the country’s business dynamics. Within the framework of the provision of tourist services there are different activities, from accommodation in hotels, farms, housing, activities in attraction parks, adventure sports, to gastronomy and destinations for cultural purposes. In this context of service provision, the vast majority are natural persons who have chamber and commerce, followed by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), leaving an insignificant percentage for large companies, becoming a national trend of which, the Department of Cundinamarca is no stranger. However, the financial performance of SMEs has not been the best in recent years, studies of public entities show this, that is why the main objective of the research is to financially analyze SMEs in the tourism sector in the Department of Cundinamarca, selecting accounting information for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022. The research methodology is of a descriptive scope based on a quantitative approach. We analyze the accounting and financial information of 12 SMEs classified in the tourism sector in the Department of Cundinamarca, the selection is not probabilistic because the number of SMEs reporting information to control entities in the sector, is not a majority population. As financial indicators were worked 4 groups of analysis: profitability, indebtedness, liquidity and cash flow. Based on the results obtained in the indicators, an arithmetic mean was determined by indicator and by analyzed company, assigned a score of 1 to 5 to analyze the sector’s performance.
