Resumen Nuestro objetivo general de esta investigación no es estructurar un lineamiento contable en este tema relacionado con el comercio electrónico, si no por el contrario, queremos proporcionar información de interés para un mejor entendimiento y compresión basándonos en las tendencias, la tecnología y las normas vigentes que apliquen en el ámbito del comercio. Las nuevas tecnologías en su rápido desarrollo y un constante cambio, el internet se convirtió en una herramienta que nos permite estar en tiempo real en cual quiere ámbito comercial, el hacer transacciones con terceras personas en un mercado sin límites por medio del cual se trazan bienes o servicios desde cualquier parte del mundo se considera hoy en día un tipo de negocio comercial. El tema concerniente a los procesos contables y el manejo que lleva este tipo de empresas, sus implicaciones tributarias lo queremos basar en información confiable y precisa, un gran aliado nuestra legislación Colombiana donde se incorporó la Ley 527 de 1999, donde fuimos pioneros en el ámbito mundial en dotar con ordenamiento jurídico reglas claras para el cabal progreso y seguridad del Comercio Electrónico y todo lo que va relacionado con él. En esta investigación decidimos tener un caso práctico que lo desarrollaremos en nuestros objetivos con el fin de establecer los procesos y todo lo relacionado que lleva este tipo de empresas en el aspecto contable. Abstract Our general objective of this research is not to structure an accounting guideline on this subject related to e-commerce, but on the contrary, we want to provide information of interest for a better understanding and comprehension based on the trends, technology and current standards that apply in the field of trade. The new technologies in their fast development and a constant change, the Internet became a tool that allows us to be in real time in which you want commercial environment, making transactions with third parties in a market without limits through which goods or services are drawn from anywhere in the world is considered today a type of commercial business. The subject concerning the accounting processes and the handling that takes this type of companies, its tributary implications we want to base it on reliable and precise information, a great ally our Colombian legislation where Law 527 of 1999 was incorporated, where we were pioneering in the world wide scope in equipping with legal order clear rules for the total progress and security of the Electronic Commerce and everything what goes related to him. In this investigation we decided to have a practical case that we will develop in our objectives with the purpose of establishing the processes and everything related that takes this type of companies in the accounting aspect.
