El sector turístico a lo largo del tiempo ha traído beneficios, uno de ellos es el crecimiento económico, la apertura de nuevos empleos, reconocimiento de los distintos atractivos. Por esta razón el gobierno nacional ha procurado el fortalecimiento del sector turístico mediante distintas estrategias. Para el caso de Albán Cundinamarca se ha convertido en un municipio con potencial turístico el cual se debe fortalecer, por esta razón se hace necesaria una propuesta de actualización del estatuto tributario del municipio en el cual se incluya una actividad en el impuesto de industria y comercio, debe estar direccionada al sector turístico para lograr fortalecerlo, para ello se desarrolló una encuesta con los operadores turísticos en la cual se manifestó el interés y el apoyo a este proyecto. Durante el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó una caracterización de los operadores turísticos, se observaron los beneficios económicos que traería este impuesto en el municipio, se estructura la propuesta de actualización al título dos del estatuto tributario en su capítulo uno fue desarrollado en el transcurso de los cuatro objetivos específicos, con el fin de dar cumplimiento al objetivo general, se utilizó una metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa, se realizó trabajo de campo mediante la encuesta y el acercamiento a los operadores turísticos. Se concluye que este proyecto sería de utilidad para la alcaldía municipal logrando un crecimiento económico de este sector mediante la inversión obtenida por este impuesto, de esta manera los operadores turísticos lograrían un gran apoyo para fortalecer la actividad turística ABSTRACTThe tourism sector over time has brought benefits, one of them is economic growth, the opening of new jobs, recognition of the different attractions. During the development of the project, a characterization of the tour operators was carried out, the economic benefits that this tax would bring in the municipality were observed, the proposal to update title two of the tax statute in its chapter one was developed in the course of the four specific objectives, in order to comply with the general objective, for which aquantitative and qualitative methodology was used, field work was carried out through the survey and the approach to tour operators. It is concluded that this project would be useful for the municipal mayor's office achieving economic growth and strengthening of this sector through the investment obtained by this tax, in this way the tour operators would achieve great support to strengthen tourism activity.
