La realidad aumentada a nivel educativo ofrece bastante usabilidad y se está convirtiendo progresivamente en una tecnología que llama la atención de todos, no solo a nivel académico si no en todos los ámbitos de esta nueva sociedad del conocimiento, el objetivo de la realidad aumentada es estimular nuestros sentidos (crear una realidad mixta) a través de un dispositivo tecnológico con el cual el usuario pueda interactuar con un entorno físico del mundo real, dando la sensación de realidad, esto permite que los elementos físicos se combinen con objetos virtuales. Para crear la aplicación se adoptó la tecnología de realidad aumentada con base a la investigación detallada y el análisis del estado del arte de Apps existentes que utilizan este tipo de innovación y el uso tecnológico Geolocalización, a su vez se estudiaron las técnicas de desarrollo para la creación de aplicaciones móviles. Coadyuvado a esto se crea un prototipo de aplicación de realidad aumentada en dispositivos móviles dirigido en esa oportunidad a la comunidad Udecina extensión Soacha, la aplicación facilita el reconocimiento de las áreas que conforman la infraestructura física de a sede por medio de la Geolocalización en tiempo real. Permitiendo que se pueda recorrer el campus universitario e interactuar con los elementos físicos y virtuales que conforman dicho espacio generando como ayuda de la comunidad universitaria.
