RESUMEN: La presente investigación surge de la necesidad de generar espacios de reflexión teórica alrededor de las Ciencias del Deporte y la Educación Física, desde un aspecto fundamental como lo es, la oferta y la demanda en artículos deportivos de la Barra Brava de la Guardia Albi Roja Sur, Barra con más de 19 años apoyando al Club Independiente Santa Fe; en el transcurrir del tiempo, el mercado de los artículos deportivos ha venido creciendo significativamente, el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre y las diferentes prácticas deportivas implican que la demanda de estos artículos sea cada vez mayor. Se desarrolló una investigación con una metodología descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto, ya que se quiere dar a conocer las costumbres y las actitudes predominantes que presentan los integrantes de la Barra Brava la Guardia Albi Roja Sur, identificando la oferta y la demanda en artículos deportivos especialmente en el calzado deportivo; por medio de la descripción, formulación y el análisis. El instrumento de recolección de datos que se empleó para el desarrollo de esta investigación fue la encuesta. La investigación del consumo en artículos deportivos nos permitió conocer la situación real en el sector de la Barra Brava, se desarrolló por medio de una encueta que se realizó a este Grupo Social de Referencia de la ciudad de Bogotá D.C. En este caso, se determinó el nivel de consumo en la oferta y demanda del calzado deportivo de los integrantes de la Barra Brava de Fútbol la Guardia Albi Roja Sur.
