El presente trabajo recolecta y presenta información relevante acerca del cultivo de cannabis en Colombia, enfatiza el modelo agronómico que se debe seguir en la región, describiendo el manejo técnico para clima en la provincia del Sumapaz el cual resalta las ventajas de su desarrollo en esta zona, diferenciando el tipo de cultivo exterior e interior, las licencias y los pasos necesarios para su operación en Colombia, así mismo se menciona el crecimiento de mercado que tiene frente a otros países evidenciando el futuro de una industria nueva y potencial que favorece en diferentes aspectos a la sociedad colombiana como económicos, sociales e investigativos. La información obtenida es de validez científica y oficial, recolectada a través de base de datos del gobierno nacional los cuales regulan el marco legal para adquisición de semillas, producción, transformación, investigación y transporte de cannabis medicinal. El mercado de cannabis tiene un gran potencial en Colombia por bajo costo energético, la gran cantidad de mano de obra que involucra, así mismo la gestión de las licencias de cannabis se puede realizar desde la plataforma MICC del Ministerio de Justicia y del Derecho reduciendo los tiempos de obtención. The present work collects and presents relevant information about the cultivation of cannabis in Colombia, emphasizes the agronomic model that should be followed in the region, describing the technical management for climate in the province of Sumapaz which highlights the advantages of its development in this area, differentiating the type of outdoor and indoor cultivation, licenses and the necessary steps for its operation in Colombia, likewise mentions the market growth that has against other countries showing the future of a new and potential industry that favors in different aspects to the Colombian society as economic, social and research. The information obtained is of scientific and official validity, collected through data bases of the national government which regulate the legal frame for the acquisition of seeds, production, transformation, investigation and transport of medical cannabis. The cannabis market has great potential in Colombia for low energy costs, the large amount of labor involved, likewise the management of cannabis licenses can be done from the platform MICC of the Ministry of Justice and Law reducing the time of obtaining.
