RESUMEN El estudio de esta investigación responde a la necesidad de adoptar un modelo de sustentabilidad, que incluya procesos de producción transformación, comercialización y la protección de la biodiversidad del municipio. Así mismo, este proyecto invita a los campesinos a que innoven sus prácticas agropecuarias tradicionales permitiendo un desarrollo socio económico en sus habitantes, en el cual se plantean diversas estrategias que permitan mitigar problemas que afectan los agroecosistemas campesinos, en su parte productiva y ambiental, con el propósito de generar un equilibrio entre el hombre y la naturaleza. Este proyecto estuvo dividido en tres etapas los cuales contribuyen a lograr los objetivos propuestos. La primera etapa se desarrolló antecedentes y referentes, marcó conceptual y legal que fundamentaron este estudio. La segunda etapa fue la implementación de la herramienta MESMIS. La última Etapa se denomina resultados y estrategias que permitan aumentar la sustentabilidad de sus agroecosistemas. ABSTRACT The study of this research responds to the need to adopt a model of sustainability, which processes production, transformation and the protection of the biodiversity of the municipality.
