Representaciones sociales del campesinado en la vereda Bóchica del municipio de Fusagasugá: una mirada desde los imaginarios rurales

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las representaciones sociales del campesinado en la vereda Bóchica, ubicada en el municipio de Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca), considerando sus imaginarios, prácticas cotidianas y procesos de territorialización. Desde un enfoque cualitativo con perspectiva etnográfica, se emplearon técnicas como la observación participante, entrevistas semiestructuradas y un taller de cartografía social con un grupo focal. Los resultados muestran que los habitantes de Bóchica se reconocen como campesinos a través de sus saberes, vínculos con la tierra y la transmisión intergeneracional de conocimientos. Las representaciones sociales emergen como construcciones colectivas que moldean la identidad campesina y permiten la reproducción simbólica del territorio. Asimismo, se evidencia cómo los procesos de resistencia, autonomía organizativa y defensa del entorno se articulan con los imaginarios instituyentes presentes en la comunidad. Se concluye que las representaciones sociales permiten comprender las dinámicas de apropiación territorial, el sentido de comunidad y la persistencia del campesinado como sujeto colectivo frente a los desafíos estructurales del mundo rural. This research aims to analyze the social representations of peasants in the Bóchica district, located in the municipality of Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca), considering their imaginaries, daily practices, and territorialization processes. Using a qualitative approach with an ethnographic perspective, techniques such as participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and a social mapping workshop with a focus group were used. The results show that the inhabitants of Bóchica identify themselves as peasants through their knowledge, ties to the land, and the intergenerational transmission of knowledge. Social representations emerge as collective constructions that shape peasant identity and enable the symbolic reproduction of the territory. Likewise, it is evident how the processes of resistance, organizational autonomy, and environmental defense are articulated with the constitutive imaginaries present in the community. It is concluded that these social representations allow us to understand the dynamics of territorial appropriation, the sense of community, and the persistence of peasants as a collective subject in the face of the structural challenges of the rural world.
