Análisis de las condiciones ocupacionales de los estudiantes de enfermería de primer a decimo semestre en la universidad de Cundinamarca, seccional Girardot, durante el año 2023.

Introducción: Estudiar y trabajar es todo un reto. Es un desafío alto al que se enfrenta una gran cantidad de la población estudiantil; Desde una perspectiva tradicional, la política de educación superior se basa en la premisa de que el estudiante ideal es aquel que se dedica a sus estudios exclusivamente, sin embargo, hay estudiantes que optan por trabajar consiguiendo un dinero suficiente que apoye su sostenimiento y estancia universitaria, aparte de sus obligaciones de estado. Objetivo: Determinar las condiciones ocupacionales de los estudiantes de enfermería de primer a decimo semestre en la Universidad de Cundinamarca, seccional Girardot, durante el año 2023; con el propósito de identificar los riesgos más prevalentes en la comunidad estudiantil trabajadora y generar estrategias de autocuidado. Materiales y método: La metodología de este estudio es cuantitativa de tipo descriptivo, en el cual se enfatizan las condiciones ocupacionales a los que están expuestos los estudiantes trabajadores, el universo de la investigación son los estudiantes de enfermería de primer a decimo semestre en la Universidad de Cundinamarca, seccional Girardot, durante el año 2023. Respecto a los métodos para la recolección de información, en favor de dar cumplimiento a los objetivos específicos del proyecto se creó y utilizo un Instrumento llamado “Encuesta de condiciones ocupacionales”, aplicada por medio de la plataforma Google Forms; dicha encuesta cuenta con el respectivo instructivo para su diligenciamiento y consentimiento informado para el tratamiento de los datos. Resultado: Se evidencia que de 350 estudiantes de primer a decimo semestre del programa de enfermería, los estudiantes trabajadores en el momento representan el 15% (52 estudiantes) que laboran. El 100% de los mismos manifiestan tener factores de riesgo en su lugar de trabajo y condiciones que no favorecen el desarrollo de sus labores. Conclusiones: A través de la aplicación de la encuesta de condiciones ocupacionales, se logró caracterizar socio demográficamente a los estudiantes trabajadores en el programa de enfermería de la Universidad de Cundinamarca, seccional Girardot; se logró la plena identificación de los factores de riesgo ocupacionales y se generaron estrategias de autocuidado que permitirán a esta población conservar y/o fortalecer su salud física y mental; dichas estrategias giran en torno al descanso, establecimiento de límites y responsabilidad del rol que se ejerce en el trabajo. Materials and method: The methodology of this study is quantitative and descriptive, in which the occupational conditions to which student workers are exposed are emphasized. The universe of the research is nursing students from the first to tenth semester at the University. of Cundinamarca, Girardot section, during the year 2023. Regarding the methods for collecting information, in order to comply with the specific objectives of the project, an Instrument called “Survey of occupational conditions” was created and used, applied through the Google Forms platform; This survey has the respective instructions for its completion and informed consent for data processing. Result: It is evident that of 350 students from the first to tenth semester of the nursing program, the working students at the moment represent 15% (52 students) who work. 100% of them state that they have risk factors in their workplace and conditions that do not favor the development of their work. Conclusions: Through the application of the occupational conditions survey, it was possible to socio-demographically characterize the student workers in the nursing program of the University of Cundinamarca, Girardot section; Full identification of occupational risk factors was achieved and self-care strategies were generated that will allow this population to preserve and/or strengthen their physical and mental health; These strategies revolve around rest, establishing limits and responsibility for the role played at work.
