Con la implementación de la factura electrónica, la nómina electrónica y el documento equivalente electrónico, al presentarse esta información a través de estos, la Dian obtiene ventajas como la reducción de errores o inconsistencias, así como la entrega en tiempo real de las transacciones de personas físicas y jurídicas. Si bien esta información se repite en el reporte de información exógena, permite un mayor análisis, ya que se recopila un mayor detalle de las operaciones o transacciones de las diferentes entidades. El objetivo es analizar en países como México, Brasil y Chile el impacto de la implementación de documentos electrónicos en la reducción de costos operativos, la mejora de la eficiencia, la reducción de riesgos y errores, y el fortalecimiento del control fiscal de las personas físicas y jurídicas. The aim is to analyze in countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Chile the impact of the implementation of electronic documents on the reduction of operating costs, improvement of efficiency, reduction of risk and errors, strengthening of fiscal control over natural and legal persons.
