En el primer capítulo se presenta de manera clara y precisa el problema que aborda la presente investigación y los objetivos a los que se quiere alcanzar con la propuesta en cuestión; se da a conocer la población de estudio, estudiante de cuarto y quinto de básica primaria del colegio Santo Ángel de Flandes-Tolima. En el segundo capítulo, se presentan los estudios que sugieren como antecedentes a la presente investigación y que constituye un referente para trabajar la imagen en el aula de clase; A demás se aborda el marco teórico que fue donde se apoyó la investigación con autores tanto nacionales como internacionales. En el tercer capitulo se describe la ruta metodológica en el que se enmarcó la presente investigación, teniendo un enfoque cualitativo. El cuarto capítulo se encuentra el analísis de los resultados obtenidos una vez echa la aplicación de la propuesta; este estudio se lleva a cabo mediante cuadros de análisis que facilitan un mayor compromiso de lo obtenido en la investigación para, finalmente, en el quinto capítulo, consignar una serie de conclusiones y recomendaciones que sirvan como precedente para futuras investigaciones en esta misma linea de trabajo y contribuya a mejorar los procesos de lectura en el aula. ABSTRACT: In the first chapter, the problem addressed by this research and the objectives to be achieved with the proposal in question are presented clearly and precisely; The study population, fourth and fifth grade primary school student of the Santo Ángel de Flandes-Tolima school, is announced. In the second chapter, we present the studies that suggest as background to the present investigation and that constitute a reference to work the image in the classroom; In addition, the theoretical framework that was supported by research with both national and international authors is addressed. The third chapter describes the methodological route in which this research was framed, taking a qualitative approach. The fourth chapter is the analysis of the results obtained once the application of the proposal is made; This study is carried out by means of analysis tables that facilitate a greater commitment of what was obtained in the investigation to, finally, in the fifth chapter, consign a series of conclusions and recommendations that serve as a precedent for future investigations in this same line of work and contribute to improve reading processes in the classroom.
