La caracterización morfométrica de la quebrada agua blanca mediante el análisis morfométrico y las ecuaciones hidrológicas implementadas junto con el software ArcMap permitió categorizar dicho cuerpo hídrico como un sector que tiende a ser alargado, el cual posee un caudal intermitente con baja susceptibilidad a presentar avenidas torrenciales, así mismo se clasifico como una red de tipo meandrico irregular junto con sus drenajes, los cuales se denominaron de tipo dendritico debido a la forma de sus ramificaciones. Una vez sintetizada la información sintetizada se concluyó que el riesgo por susceptibilidad de crecidas torrenciales en la vereda agua blanca es del 59% en un nivel bajo, pero el 1% referente al riesgo alto pertenece al sector occidental del casco urbano, por lo cual en épocas de lluvia se pueden presentar inundaciones espontaneas. ABSTRACT: The morphometric characterization of the white water stream by means of the morphometric analysis and the hydrological equations implemented together with the ArcMap software allowed to categorize this water body as a sector that tends to be elongated, which has an intermittent flow with low susceptibility to torrential floods, Likewise, it was classified as an irregular meander type network together with its drains, which were called dendritic type due to the shape of its branches. Once the synthesized information was synthesized, it was concluded that the risk due to the susceptibility of torrential floods in the Agua Blanca village is 59% at a low level, but the 1% referring to the high risk belongs to the western sector of the urban area, therefore in rainy seasons can present spontaneous floods.
