EVALUACIÓN DE LA DISPONIBILIDAD DEL RECURSO HÍDRICO SUPERFICIAL A PARTIR DE UN ANÁLISIS OFERTA REAL- DEMANDA EN EL MUNICIPIO DE MADRID CUNDINAMARCA

La evaluación de la disponibilidad del recurso hídrico brinda información base para la gestión y administración de las fuentes hídricas, lo que garantiza el cubrimiento de las necesidades de la población o de las actividades económicas y productivas. El objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar el potencial hídrico superficial de la microcuenca del río Subachoque en Madrid, para ello se utilizó información proveniente de diferentes actores oficiales y repositorios de información académica; con los datos recolectados se realizó un análisis oferta real-demanda, determinando la Demanda Hídrica actual del municipio de Madrid que es de 3,12 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ de la cual el 90% está destinada al sector agropecuario, el caudal ecológico cuyo resultado es de 0,315 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ y la Oferta Hídrica Total Disponible de la microcuenca cuyo total final es 5,27 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ y comparando estos datos bajo un condicional de balance hídrico a través del tiempo, en el cual, se indicó que en el año en el que la demanda superará la oferta hídrica de la microcuenca del río Subachoque ya no sería capaz de suplir las necesidades hídricas del municipio, de esta manera se estableció que la microcuenca del río Subachoque tiene un potencial hídrico de explotación durante un lapso de 65 años suponiendo que el total de los sectores productivos presentes y la totalidad de sus habitantes se abastecieran del río como única fuente del recurso hídrico. ABSTRACT: The evaluation of the availability of the water resource provides basic information for the management and administration of the water sources, which guarantees the coverage of the needs of the population or of the economic and productive activities. The objective of this research is to evaluate the surface water potential of the Subachoque river micro-basin in Madrid, for this information from different official actors and repositories of academic information was used; With the data collected, a real supply-demand analysis was carried out, determining the current Water Demand of the municipality of Madrid which is 3.12 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ of which 90% is destined to the agricultural sector, the ecological flow whose result is 0.315 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ and the Total Available Water Supply of the micro-basin whose final total is 5.27 𝑚3 𝑠 ⁄ and comparing these data under a conditional water balance over time, in which it was indicated that in the year in which the demand will exceed the water supply of the Subachoque river micro-basin, it would no longer be able to meet the water needs of the municipality, in this way it was established that the Subachoque river micro-basin has a water potential for exploitation during a period of 65 years assuming that the total of the productive sectors present and all of its inhabitants were supplied from the river as the only source of the water resource.
