El uso eficiente y ahorro del agua a nivel mundial se ha convertido en una necesidad crucial para garantizar la sostenibilidad del recurso hídrico, considerándolo como un “recurso finito y vulnerable, esencial para sostener la vida, el desarrollo y el ambiente”, teniendo en cuenta que su “gestión debe basarse en un enfoque participativo, involucrando a usuarios, planificadores y los responsables de las decisiones a todos los niveles” (CIAMA, 1992) , el uso eficiente del agua implica entre otros, caracterizar la demanda del agua (cualificar y cuantificar) por parte de los diferentes usuarios y analizar los hábitos de consumo para emprender acciones dirigidas hacia cambios que optimicen su uso, así como a la promoción de prácticas que permitan favorecer la sostenibilidad de los ecosistemas y la reducción de la contaminación. (CAR, 2011) Este proyecto de pasantía tuvo como objetivo implementar estrategias educativas en la zona rural de las veredas del norte del municipio de Girardot. Con el fin de garantizar el recurso hídrico, así mismo generando cultura en las familias que habitan en las veredas. Creando conciencia de la importancia del ahorro y uso eficiente del agua mediante la reutilización del recurso del agua lluvia en épocas de invierno para uso de las actividades diarias y de consumo, algunas veredas no cuentan con servicio de acueducto para esto se implementó esta estrategia educativa mediante capacitaciones pedagógicas y folleto con la finalidad del aprovechamiento del agua lluvia en los tanques que fueron asignados del el proyecto lluvia para la vida de la car para generar una mejor calidad de vida. ABSTRACT: The efficient use and saving of water worldwide has become a crucial need to guarantee the sustainability of the water resource, considering it as a "finite and vulnerable resource, essential to sustain life, development and the environment", taking into account that their "management must be based on a participatory approach, involving users, planners and decision-makers at all levels" (CIAMA, 1992), the efficient use of water implies, among others, characterizing water demand (qualifying and quantify) by different users and analyze consumption habits to undertake actions aimed at changes that optimize their use, as well as to promote practices that favor the sustainability of ecosystems and the reduction of pollution. (CAR, 2011). The aim of this internship project was to implement educational strategies in the rural area of the villages of the north of the municipality of Girardot. In order to guarantee the water resource, likewise generating culture in the families that inhabit the trails. Creating awareness of the importance of saving and efficient use of water by reusing the rainwater resource in winter times for the use of daily activities and consumption, some paths do not have an aqueduct service for this educational strategy was implemented through pedagogical training and brochure with the purpose of the use of rainwater in the tanks that were assigned to the rain project for the life of the car to generate a better quality of life.
