Influencia de la densidad de alojamiento sobre la ganancia diaria de peso y conversión alimenticia en pollos de engorde línea Cobb 500 en la granja Playita, Tibacuy, Cundinamarca

El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar la influencia de la densidad sobre parámetros zootécnicos como la ganancia de peso diaria y conversión alimenticia en machos y hembras de la línea Cobb 500. Se utilizaron 15.096 aves. Las cuales se distribuyeron en dos galpones, el galpón 1 conformado 100% con machos; el galpón 2 con 60 % hembras y 40% machos los cuales fueron separados en dos corrales; uno de hembra y uno de macho. Las aves se recibieron con una densidad inicial de 13,2 aves por metro cuadrado en el galpón 1 y 14,3 aves por metro cuadrado en el galpón 2. A partir de la tercera semana cambiaron las densidades debido a la venta de pollos de recría (hasta los 21 días). Semana a semana se realizó evaluación de ganancia de peso diario y conversión alimenticia de cada uno de los galpones pesando aproximadamente el 2% de las aves en la madrugada, para esto era necesario que las aves amanecieran sin alimento en los comederos ni buches llenos. La información obtenida se comparó con la establecida en la tabla de rendimiento productivo de la empresa Karioco S.A.S propietaria de las aves con el fin de mejorar los resultados y determinar la densidad de aves por metro adecuada para machos y hembras en la granja Playita ubicada en Tibacuy Cundinamarca. The objective of this work was to determine the influence of density on zootechnical parameters such as daily weight gain and feed conversion in males and females of the Cobb 500 line. 15,096 birds were used.
