Dentro de los aspectos importantes para el bienestar de una sociedad y de un país es el tener un excelente desarrollo económico, pero Colombia no ha logrado un crecimiento importante en dicho aspecto, entonces se puede pensar que el turismo es un sector que se logra explotar generando ese crecimiento económico por ello la presente investigación está enfocada en determinar la demanda turística de la provincia de Soacha Municipio de Sibaté, dando a conocer sus fortalezas y debilidades como Municipio analizando el impacto económico que el turismo genera sobre él, brindando un conocimiento más claro del perfil del turista como también de los servicios que requieren. La metodología se caracteriza por ser desarrollada en campo por medio de encuestas con las cuales se desenvolvieron los objetivos planteados y así determinar cada uno de los factores influyentes en el sector turismo. Por último se concluyó la necesidad de crear estrategias que incentiven a la empresa privada y las entidades gubernamentales a hacer de Sibaté unos de los destinos turísticos más importantes para la Región. The methodology is characterized by being developed in the field through surveys with which the stated objectives were developed and thus determine each of the influential factors in the tourism sector. Finally, the need to create strategies that encourage private companies and government entities to make Sibaté one of the most important tourist destinations for the Region was concluded.
