La contaminación de afluentes es una de las mayores problemáticas que enfrenta Colombia actualmente, la falta de información y concientización por parte de la población en general ha generado un proceso degenerativo en el medio ambiente especialmente a recurso vital del agua. A través de la sentencia del río Bogotá se busca la recuperación del afluente (río principal en Colombia) a lo largo de toda su cuenca, para lograr este objetivo se requiere unir esfuerzos políticos, económicos, tecnológicos y participación ciudadana todo con el fin de garantizar la recuperación del afluente y mejorar la calidad de vida de l,as poblaciones que se ven afectadas principalmente las aledañas al afluente. El análisis se hace a la parte baja de la cuenca puesto que es la zona en estado más crítico y se debe hacer intervención pronta y severa. ABSTRACT: The pollution of the tributaries is one of the biggest problems that Colombia faces today, the lack of information and awareness on the part of the general population has generated a degenerative process in the environment, especially a vital water resource. Through the judgment of the Bogotá River, the recovery of the tributary (Colombia´s main river) is sought throughout its basin, to achieve this objective it is necessary to join political, economic, technological and citizen participation efforts to guarantee the recovery of the tributary and improve the quality of life of the populations that are mainlyaffected by those that surround the tributary. The analisys is carried out in the lower part of the basin since it is the area in the most critical state and a prompt and severe intervention must be carried out.
