La creación, diseño e implementación de un sistema de información eficaz y eficiente, debe ser capaz de combinar los distintos componentes que constituyen dicho sistema, personas, datos, procesos y tecnologías de la información. Todo esto con el objetivo fundamental de favorecer a la Unidad amigable en la Universidad de Cundinamarca en su óptimo funcionamiento. En el componente personas los beneficios en una mejor atención en la unidad amigable frente al control del consumo de SPA (sustancias psicoactivas). El componente datos representa la información necesaria con la que trabajará el sistema para permitirle a la unidad la consulta y manipulación de los mismos. El componente procesos muestra cómo deben tratarse los datos para acelerar y mejorar los procesos de la Unidad amigable, ahorrando tiempo en las valoraciones. El cuarto y último componente son las tecnologías de la información, que se convierten en un medio en donde estudiantes, docentes y comunidad puedan trabajar en un ambiente digital, en pro de la prevención y control del consumo de sustancias psicoactivas.
