La importancia de la autoevaluación y acreditación en el programa de contaduría pública en una de las principales universidades que tiene la ciudad de Fusagasugá, la Universidad de Cundinamarca “UDEC”, donde es de gran importancia tener en cuenta que si no se cuenta con los procesos adecuados para obtener registro calificado no se puede seguir ofertando el programa en la universidad, teniendo en cuenta que en Fusagasugá cuenta con solo 2 universidades que ofertan el programa al perder la facultad de dictar este pregrado se disminuiría considerablemente la opción de escoger al próximo estudiante universitario, sin contar con los que ya estén cursando la carrera. Como consecuencia de lo anteriormente planteado es que la universidad tiene muy presente el proceso de autoevaluación y acreditación de la carrera, para no quedarse atrás y con la posibilidad de perder el registro calificado, donde se realizan actividades como lo es la actualización, tabulación y análisis de la información que registra en la base de datos de la universidad con los temas concernientes a egresados, estudiantes y profesores principalmente.
