Esta investigación lleva como título La autobiografía como estrategia para fortalecer la competencia escrita de los estudiantes de grado séptimo de la IE Policarpa Salavarrieta de Girardot, y tiene como fin fortalecer los procesos de competencia escrita de los estudiantes. A través de la implementación de diversas actividades de escritura narrativa, donde los estudiantes se acerquen a la escritura y así puedan identificar, reconocer y dominar la estructura del género narrativo autobiográfico y la competencia escrita, de la cual se hacen parte los elementos de coherencia y cohesión planteados por Rincón (2001) como lo son; en la coherencia son Lineal, secuencial o local y en la cohesión son la referencia, sustitución, los conectivos y los signos de puntuación. Se encuentran los objetivos de este trabajo: la autobiografía y la competencia escrita. Con los antecedentes, se buscó relacionar las problemáticas y así orientar teórica y metodológicamente este trabajo. Luego, se encuentra la descripción del problema teniendo en cuenta las contribuciones que los antecedentes y referentes teóricos proporcionan. Gracias a ello, se desprende el problema junto con los objetivos de esta investigación. La metodología de esta investigación es cualitativa y, así mismo, se escoge la investigación acción participativa. La aplicación de este proyecto duró aproximadamente 10 semanas. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la observación, las herramientas de recolección de datos y algunos escritos. Después, se evidencia el análisis de la información registrada soportada por las matrices de los resultados y la triangulación. Por último, las reflexiones y conclusiones de esta investigación. ASBTRACT: This research is titled The Autobiography as a Strategy to Strengthen the Writing Competence of EI Policarpa Salavarrieta de Girardot's Seventh Grade Students, and aims to strengthen students' writing competence processes. Through the implementation of various narrative writing activities, where students approach writing and thus can identify, recognize and master the structure of the autobiographical narrative genre and written competence, which are part of the elements of coherence and cohesion raised by Rincon (2001) as they are; in the coherence are linear, sequential or local and in the cohesion are the reference, substitution, connectives and punctuation. The objectives of this work are: the autobiography and the written competence. With the antecedents, it was sought to relate the problems and thus guide theoretically and methodologically this work. Then, there is the description of the problem taking into account the contributions that the background and theoretical references provide. Thanks to this, the problem is revealed along with the objectives of this research. The methodology of this research is qualitative, and participatory action research is also chosen. The application of this project took approximately 10 weeks. The instruments used were observation, data collection tools and some writing. Afterwards, the analysis of the recorded information supported by the results matrices and triangulation is evidenced. Finally, the reflections and conclusions of this research.
